Tonight, scholars need to read Chapter 14 in The Lightning Thief. As you read, you should annotate for 2 things you notice and 2 things you wonder. Annotations can be made directly in The Lightning Thief, or, if you prefer, on a sheet of looseleaf.
Enjoy the snow day! This weekend, scholars need to read Chapter 13 from The Lightning Thief. They also need to complete the classwork they started in class on Friday, which is the "Key Elements of Mythology" gist graphic organizer. It will be checked for a grade on Monday.
For homework tonight, scholars need to read chapter 12 of The Lightning Thief and make a list (on looseleaf paper) of all the allusions that they can find in this chapter. There should be at least 3 allusions on the list.
